This is a painting of Chakotah I did it for Trish; she was the young lady who looked after him while he was in quarentine, she came in on weekends and holidays in her own time, she groomed him and kept him company. So I painted this for her. This image is scanned from a photo I took before I handed over the painting.

it's wonderful... I especially love the blues in it, the golden eyes and general softness. and I could never guess what medium is it- oil doesn't usually look like this :) all the details... yes, you should be really proud of this one :D

A wonderful painting of your friend Chakotah !! How sweet you made it for Trish ! She really deserves it for her kindness and the way she looked after Chakotah ! It must have given you a lot of comfort then,knowing she was there, when you was not able to do so !! I love this painting .

Did you take a picture of him and use that or does he sit very still? Lol!

This is really good! I like the fur, especially. I almost want to stroke the screen - I don't know how you got it looking so soft.

The only criticism I would make is that his eyes have no reflection in them, and so don't quite look as alive as they could do.

But nice painting! What was he in quarantine for?
